Vilar Do Golf was designed for the discerning traveler who desires outdoor recreation and exceptional indoor relaxation. The bike rentals, swimming pools, hiking trails in Natural Reserve, white sandy beaches and volleyball and pétanque courts offer hours of outdoor fun. Golfers will appreciate the on-site club rental services that ensure you’re fitted for a day at one of the area’s golf courses.

  Important information

  • Resort Entrance Renovation Alert: As part of our efforts to enhance and maintain Vilar do Golf, the resort’s entrance is anticipated to undergo renovations from 1 December 2023 to 29 February 2024. During this time, we will work to keep disruption to a minimum as we aim to improve the circulation of vehicles and the parking area near the reception building. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Important Travel Update: In mid-2025, travelers to Europe will be required to apply for and obtain travel authorization through the EU Travel Information & Authorization System (ETIAS). Although an official launch date has yet to be announced, please visit the official ETIAS webpage for more details, including a list of participating countries.
  • The pool bar is only open during the high & peak seasons.
  • Car rental is strongly recommended. Caravans and motor-homes are not permitted onsite.
  • If guests wish to take advantage of the golf courses in the region, a handicap certificate or demonstration of their playing skills is required.
  • Whilst the one bedroom units do sleep up to 4 persons, please note they are really only suitable for 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults. All 2 bedroom units have two bathrooms, one of which is ensuite. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are on the first floor - there are no bathrooms or toilets on the ground floor.
